Ethiopia

Hi Family and Friends!

We have started the adoption process for a beautiful 15 month little boy in Ethiopia! As you may know, we've been feeling the desire to adopt for some time, and now we have the ball rolling. We have a lot of paperwork to do and approvals to achieve before he's officially ours. We are praying that everything will go smoothly and that our case workers, social worker, and the Ethiopian government will think we are the right family for him (okay, instead of writing "he" and "him" all the time, let's just refer to him as "A"). If all goes well, we hope to have A home by next summer.

I thought I'd start a blog so we could share this journey and what we learn about Ethiopian culture with our family and friends. We have a really big family, and this will be a great way to share information with everyone. I don't know how often I will actually post, so bear with me if I'm sporadic.

We love you all and know that this little one will be so blessed to have you all as family and friends!

Melissa, Greg, Aidan and Ava

  2. SING TO THE LORD, FOR HE HAS DONE WONDERFUL THINGS. MAKE KNOWN HIS PRAISE AROUND THE WORLD. ISAIAH 12:5 !!!!!
I am so happy and thrilled about this new little one (your A)!
Everyday I am praying for him, and can hardly wait for the day you get to bring him home to our country, and I get to hold him and tell him how much we love him - our little A. His Grandma & Grandpa Kneller send love and kisses and hugs his way - and prayers everyday, and count it more than a GREAT BLESSING to welcome A into our family circle!!!!! The circle of life continues!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!
Thanks for more information and insight about Ethiopia!
