I'm sorry that I haven't written much lately...honestly, there isn't much to report. I've just been paper chasing documents for our dossier...and doing a lot of waiting. Tonight I asked our homestudy social worker when she thought our homestudy would be done. She said probably not less than 4 months...that puts us in March. Then we have to send it along with our dossier to Ethiopia and have them approve it all. Then we wait for a court date...then we wait for the court date to actually happen (and hopefully pass the first time). Then we wait to travel.
We are learning to really trust God with His timing. There is so much depending on other people to do their jobs in this adoption journey. So much that I cannot control. However, I do know that God is totally in control and that we may just be so surprised at how fast things can move. Have your way, God! He is way more concerned about getting our little one in his forever family than we are. I'm so thankful that I know that Baby A is getting good care at the Thomas Center. It comforts me to know that a friend of ours visited the Thomas Center this summer when she picked up her two children and has witnessed the love and care the nannies give. Naturally, since Greg and I both work for the school district, it would be ideal to go to Ethiopia in the summer to pick up our baby...but again, God's timing is perfect. Thank you, Lord.

I'm right there with you, Babes! The wait can be so frustrating. I'm having to constantly remind myself it is all in His timing. We would SO love to be able to travel in the summer, too, but it would take a miracle for that to happen for us. We just never know what God might have up His sleeve, though! :)
